The 31st edition of the "Take Care" Road Safety Programme for school children was successfully conducted on 22nd September 2025 at Weyangoda Bandaranayake Central College. The awareness campaign aimed to educate students about road safety and responsible behavior to reduce traffic accidents and ensure safer travel.

This important programme was jointly organized by the Clean Sri Lanka Secretariat, Independant Television Network, and Sri Lanka Police. It drew participation from numerous students and teachers, emphasizing the collective effort to safeguard the younger generation on Sri Lanka's roads.

The event featured interactive sessions, safety demonstrations, and educational materials to stress the importance of vigilance and adherence to traffic rules. Organizers and officials hoped that such initiatives would foster a culture of road safety awareness among children, ultimately contributing to safer communities nationwide.

Weyangoda Bandaranayake Central College, renowned for its academic excellence and active participation in community programs, provided a fitting venue for this constructive safety initiative.
