On 16th September 2025, under the Clean Sri Lanka initiative, the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board conducted an awareness program at Kegalle Girls’ National School for newly admitted Advanced Level students in the Science and Mathematics streams.

The program emphasized the importance of receiving a fulfilling, proud, and healthy school education while contributing meaningfully to the development of the country. It also highlighted the vital role of virtuous daughters in creating homes free from tobacco, illicit drugs, and harmful substances.
